Dina Trageser is a singer and multi-instrumentalist in Seattle, and is the founder and director of Dunava Balkan Women’s Choir. She has been studying and performing Balkan folk music since 1997, and has sung in various classical and folk choirs, including the Radost Women’s Choirs Kosava and Dodole, and Russian vocal ensemble Pava. For five years she sang and played Bulgarian tambura with the Balkan folk dance band Orkestar RTW. Previously she performed with the Eugene folk dance band Balladina in Eugene, Oregon.
